After coming out from the Grand Palace, we walked our way to Wat Pho.. through a street full of amulets!
If someone tells you that Wat Pho is closed, just ignore and stick to your way.. otherwise you will be conned to some other “tourist spot”!
We went for some Thai food before visiting Wat Pho. Tom Yum is a must in Thailand!
Some nice pictures from Wat Pho..
Unlike Wat Phra Kaeo, pictures are allowed in Wat Pho!
Follow what the locals do for good luck! ^^
Mat Saleh statues in Wat Pho??!!
We found the Chinese one too! Real cultural fusion..
Traditional Thai medicine..
Animals in Wat Pho..
This is Wat Pho.. Temple of the Reclining Buddha..
Saw this outside of Wat Pho.. Want a ride?
Again we were on our boat at Ta Tien and crossed the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun.
The famous Temple of the Dawn.. I would like to come again but this time at dawn!
Nice view of Chao Phraya River from Wat Arun!
We got back on boat and what’s next?
Chinatown!! Took the ferry from Ta Tien to Ratchawongse Pier..
And walked to Chinatown!
Couldn’t find the restaurant that Fei recommended.. We had this in Overseas 海外天.. What a 残念!
What ended the day was a good Thai body massage and snacks that we sapu from street stalls!!
