A place I wanted to go so much besides Ayuthya. Despite all the discouragements, we made it at last!
We got to wake up early that morning! Unusual with this sort of free and easy trip? Sometimes got to sacrifice a bit if you want more adventures and memories!
This is not a fly, k?! This is the Ultraman going with us in the same limo! :P
Our driver is kind a friendly and tried his best to introduce me the sceneries along our way to Damnoen Saduak, where our floating market is..
Communication is not difficult actually as long as both parties try their very best to listen and understand..
I stress again, I’m NOT Thai!!
It was a breezy but warm welcome at Tan Luang Pier 2 of the floating market!!
Nice coconuts with spoons prepared to dig! And we never imagined that the weather can be so good!
With all the excitements, we were on our boat into Damnoen Saduak Floating Market!!
The guide brought us first to this Coconut Sugar Farm.. It’s a tactic to woo spending on souvenirs, coconut sugars and other products..
You will get a chance to know bit more on the processing part of coconut sugar..
To me, I found many subjects of photography!! @.@
This is what they used to extract the coconut sugar!
Started to meet some boats selling all sorts of goods!! And this was exciting!!
LV bags!!! Haha.. What an embarrassment of those who brought their LV bag along!
Old lady on her boat..
Chinese tanglung!! So, how many percentage of Chinese blood here??
Busy river way..
It isn’t that bad.. No odour, no rubbish, just bit busy with all the tourists!
Upon request, you may off from the boat and walk through the shops on shore.. And this was what I wanted so much.. chance of shooting nice photos.. But too bad!
It was only after we had passed through the whole floating market before knowing that it’s too late to stop our boat..
Luckily, we got our breakfast with us.. and enjoying so much with it! We also met a production team from Japan!! Wonder if my face be on TV in Japan!! Oishii…!! That’s why I shouted loud!!
Don’t forget also our bananas.. >.@
Poor Snoopy.. =.="
One of the nicest accomplished in this trip.. And I’ll be back again next round for more photos!!
TIPS: The market is not that long, so don’t miss the chance to get on shore. And the reasonable price for one boat tour is around 500THB per head! There is supposed a time limit for the boat tour, meaning the boatman will time you and bring you back on time! Arrange the eating on boat only while going out.. cause you may eat along the way out! The boatman will return the bowl back for you!
