While everyone fascinated by what they discovered in Angkor Wat and historical sites scattered around her, I’m going to show you what catches my eyes while I was walking down some streets in Siem Reap..
Guess what is this? I once thought it was something used for praying. Answer? This is a rubbish bin made of used tyres found standing by the street side. This is the first one we found and there were many more along our way.
We started a discussion when we discovered this! Some friends of mine were suggesting that it’s a bus schedule. You may have the answer right! This is for empat-ekor, lottery!
I don’t know why this signage attracted me. I just don’t know what it means!
One thing about Siem Reap is you can find pharmacy at great convenience, and most roadside shops have tonnes of mineral water available! Bread like this called Pata is everywhere. I tried, not bad with hams and marinated vegetables.
Marinated fish basking under the sun.
Magnificent! The stair is used conveniently as a shortcut to the next building. I feel quite funny with this actually.
And last but not least, beautiful tiles lining streets of Siem Reap, worth having a photo with it!
Eh.. the dustbin Thailand also got everywhere! The best one I saw was painted and had a smiley face too.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the road sign mean? Maybe its a H - for no honking? This is as mysterious as the no-S sign in South Africa, which later I found out it was the "no stopping" sign
