I missed the first chance to Kuching almost 6 years ago, and I made it this time.. with my fellow ex-coursemates.
The main objective of the visit was for attending SLOW’s and YLing’s wedding and we took this chance, for somebody, a revisit and recapturing of old time memories, but for me, my first step on Borneo!
Sarawak, supposed to have a time difference of half an hour or an hour with West Malaysia. But because of “One Malaysia”, they share the same time with us in KL.
The consequence is that Kuching will have their sunrise at around 5am and sunset at around 5pm.. @.@" Something we felt was that time was plenty partly because of we got to wake up early and partly because of the clock was slower than our biological clock..
A trip “packed” with excitements.. time was plenty!!
First night
SLOW fetched us from Airport and we had dinner in a food court in Hui Sing, a place a.k.a. Metahorn, named after a famous dessert.
Then, a visit to Waterfront and enjoyed the scenery of Kuching’s new DUN building.
