One of the tradition to repel evil spirits and bring prosperity.. and Malaysia has its world champion lion dance!! I can still recall lion dance is more common during my childhood time.. which it is something you would never miss during CNY..
It’s now lucky if you managed to meet one! It’s more than surprise when I meet one in SCB!! Just nice and awesome! It means more than just a dance! I had a strong lucky feeling!! ^^V
As majority of Malaysian Chinese is ancestrally originated from south China.. South Lion Dance is more commonly practiced than North Lion Dance.
